Smiles of Amare: Caché Harper, Direct Support Professional
Having the opportunity to be there for her clients and showing them how much she cares for them is what Caché loves most about her job as a DSP.
Caché Harper has been a Direct Support Professional with Amare Medical Network for more than two years but has always recognized the need for additional support in others.
Her grandparents began needing assistance with daily tasks, which inspired her to pursue a career as a DSP. As a DSP, Caché provides individualized care for people with intellectual disabilities and incorporates activities that maximize their independence.
Having the opportunity to be there for her clients and showing them how much she cares for them is what Caché loves most about her job. “I keep smiles on everyone’s face, including my own as I support their daily tasks and life decisions,” said Caché.
Just as she goes the extra mile for her clients, Caché sees that the Amare team has the same care for her. “Amare helps me just as much as I’m helping my clients, so it’s a teamwork job,” said Caché.
Caché is an asset to Amare, and she is sure to continue to enhance the lives of those she cares for, for many years to come. In her career as a DSP, she has demonstrated a strong passion for helping others that stems from her support of her family members. As her passion for caring grows and her healthcare career progresses, Caché hopes to become certified.
