Smiles of Amare: Kennia Ray, CNA

As a CNA with 13 years of experience working in long-term care, hospitals, home care, and hospice, Kennia Ray joined the Amare Medical Network team two years ago. Through her dedication to her patients and the Amare team, she consistently delivers care worthy of a million smiles.

“Smiles mean everything to me because you never know what a person may be going through and how much a smile can make their day,” Kennia said.

She loves interacting with her patients and making them feel at home. “Kennia is a hard worker who truly cares for her residents,” said account manager, Brandy Heitzenrater who hired Kennia. Natasha Cook, Kennia’s recruiter, also speaks highly of her work ethic and bubbly personality which is key in a CNA role. 

In the same way, she cares for her patients, Kennia sees that Brandy and Natasha have her best interest at heart. “Amare is way different from other places, they listen, check in, and you can feel the care they have for you,” said Kennia.

Kennia is an asset to Amare, and she is sure to continue to make a difference in the lives of her patients for many years to come. She has a passion for caring and a love for the medical field that stemmed from helping at her mom’s job in a nursing home at a young age. Recently, she even started LPN school to continue her education with plans to become a graduate nurse and continue working with Amare.

“I am very excited for her future and look forward to continuing to help Kennia shine,” said Natasha.
