Care Provider Spotlight: Tavia Bell, CNA

“I chose to become a CNA because there’s a lot of different fields I work with,” she said. “I get to see which field would best fit me. I love all things medical!”

Tavia Bell is passionate about caring for her patients. As a certified nursing assistant in Amare Medical Network’s Post-Acute division, she is more than a care provider.

“Being a part of their everyday lives is what puts a smile on my face,” Tavia said. “I enjoy hearing stories about their children and grandchildren. I love getting advice from them, and even though they are a lot older than me they’re still pretty hip!”

Tavia became a nursing assistant in 2019 and has been a CNA for the past seven months.

“I chose to become a CNA because there’s a lot of different fields I work with,” she said. “I get to see which field would best fit me. I love all things medical!”

Amare is the first agency Tavia has worked with. She learned about the opportunity from Amare CNAs who came to work with her in the past.

“The best part about working with Amare is the flexibility,” she said. “I also like that I get to work at different facilities. I get to meet new people and learn different methods and techniques.”

Tavia’s recruiter speaks highly of her.

“Tavia has shown great spirit and commitment to her position,” said recruiter Natasha Cook. “I enjoy getting her scheduled because she is super proactive when it comes time to schedule her shifts.”

Communication between Natasha and Tavia is key.

I like that she stays on top of things and sends reminders, and checks in on me to make sure I’m happy

“I like that everything feels genuine when I’m communicating with my recruiter,” Tavia said. “I like that she stays on top of things and sends reminders and checks in on me to make sure I’m happy. Overall, I’m really happy with this company.”
