Smiles of Amare: Alicia Koleszar, Post-Acute CNA

I chose to become a CNA because I find joy in spreading happiness and being a light in someone's day.

With 16 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Alicia Koleszar has consistently provided smile-worthy care, treating every individual with the respect and dignity they deserve. Alicia’s journey into healthcare was fueled by her innate desire to spread happiness and be a beacon of light in others’ lives.

For Alicia, the most rewarding part of being a CNA is witnessing the positive affects her care has on her patients’ lives. “Those small acts of kindness don’t go unnoticed, the ones that matter most remember them,” said Alicia

Each day, she goes above and beyond to ensure that it is brighter for those she cares for, always striving to spread smiles and uplift spirits. Her patience and compassion have not only helped her excel as a CNA but have also made her an invaluable asset to the Amare team.

Throughout her career, Alicia has formed meaningful connections with her patients, learning everything from cooking tips to profound life lessons. The way her patients’ faces light up when she enters a room is a memory she cherishes deeply. “While they may not always remember my name, they always recognize my face,” said Alicia, a testament to the lasting impression she leaves.

Thank you, Alicia and our entire team of CNAs for your dedication and commitment to delivering care worthy of a million smiles. Each day you play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of those we serve, and your efforts do not go unnoticed. We wish you all a very Happy CNA Week!
