Smiles of Amare: Tammy Clay, Travel MS/TELE RN

Tammy Clay, a compassionate travel MS/TELE nurse with a remarkable 28 years of experience, exemplifies the kind of smile-worthy care that Amare Medical Network strives to deliver. Tammy’s unwavering dedication to her patients shines through in everything she does.

“My mission is to provide first-class service and care to those in need, resulting in each of my patients feeling a little better than they did before,” said Tammy.

An example of her first-class care came into play when an ICU patient she was caring for was not doing well. Their family was gathered around the bedside and as Tammy was leaving the room, she said she would pray for the patient. The family misunderstood her and thought she was offering a prayer right then and there. Touched by their request, Tammy stayed to pray with the family, leaving a lasting impression on each of them.

For Tammy, the most rewarding aspect of being a nurse is, without a doubt, her patients. “The best part of being an RN is providing loving care to my patients in their time of need,” said Tammy.

When Tammy started travel nursing, she sought a company that valued its nurses and showed the same level of care she provides her patients. Amare stood out for its personalized attention and willingness to go the extra mile to find the perfect fit for her talents and experience. Mariah Lind, her recruiter, built a relationship based on this, and Tammy has now been with Amare for nearly 5 years.
