Amare’s Journey to a Million Smiles Reaches 5,000
To celebrate this "Smilestone," a donation was made by Amare Medical Network on behalf of Sherri & Kimberly to the organization of their choosing, The Westmoreland County Food Bank.
Since the launch of Amare’s Journey to a Million Smiles in May 2021, the team has shared and celebrated an abundance of well-deserved recognitions. As a result of this continuous dedication, the 5,000th smile was recently achieved.
Sherri Kashuba, Credentialing Specialist, shared a Smile with Kimberly Gasparro, HR Coordinator, that said, “Shout out for being humble and kind. Thank you so much for your help yesterday. I appreciate you!”
To celebrate this Smilestone, a donation was made by Amare Medical Network on behalf of Sherri & Kimberly to the organization of their choosing, The Westmoreland County Food Bank.
“There are so many worthy charities out there that need donations, so it wasn’t easy to pick just one, but we agreed to select the Westmoreland County Food Bank,” shared Kimberly.
“My dad had a soft spot for the food bank and to make sure everyone had the opportunity to have a full belly, especially during the holidays. After he passed, I told Sherri, that I always wanted to continue that in his honor… so I thank Sherri for the Smile, Amare for the opportunity to donate to the Food Bank and overall, for giving us both this chance to give back.”
The Westmoreland Food Bank is part of Feeding America, a nationwide network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries that, together, make up the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, serving people in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
