Care Provider Spotlight: Megan Voss, CT Tech

Megan Voss dedicates herself to providing care worthy of a million smiles as a CT Tech in Minnesota. Amare is the second agency she has worked with and as she begins her first contract with the company, she is already seeing a difference.

“They’re a very large company so it’s easy for you to fall in the cracks and be forgotten,” Megan said about her previous agency. “With Amare, my recruiter Alex is always available. He’s there if I have questions.”

Megan has completed travel contracts in her local area, where she has also held staff positions. She’s looking forward to visiting other places.

“I figured traveling was the best way for me to get out into the world,” she said. “I want to go everywhere, see it all – Vermont in the fall, Florida or Arizona in the winter, and I want to take my dog hiking in the mountains.”

She also enjoys travel contracts because of the experience she has gained.

“I’ve met people who taught me things they don’t teach you in the books. People who do things a little differently. I want to keep learning.”

Megan’s favorite part of the job is working with the patients.

“I really like helping people, and with patient care, you get to connect and earn a lot about your patient. Listening to their stories, that’s one of my favorite things,” she said. “Their face is just glowing because you’re there and you’re listening.”

She plans to sign on for more hospital contracts in the future, with Amare. “Alex has just been so great and easy to work with. He’s made the process absolutely seamless.”
