Care Provider Spotlight: Jo Ann, RN

Jo Ann Stadtfeld has been a nurse for nearly four decades. When she joined Amare Medical Network’s Post-Acute Division in 2020, she was finally able to get back to what she loves the most: caring for patients.

“I came from an office nurse setting,” she said. “I’m getting back into hands-on nursing. I do enjoy that. It’s why I became a nurse.”

Now, as a floor nurse in a skilled facility, Jo Ann’s passion for caring shines through as she treats patients like family.

“I truly would like to think I make an impact every time I go there,” she said. Jo Ann makes sure those she cares for don’t just feel like a patient, but instead they feel like a person.

“You become part of their everyday life,” she said. “It’s rewarding…taking care of them, watching them get better, watching them grow.”

Jo Ann was referred to Amare by friends. She loves having a flexible schedule without having to worry about getting enough hours.

“I’ve never had a problem getting what I needed. The schedulers are great, recruitment was awesome and everything happened so seamlessly,” she said. “It has been a very, very good experience.”
